Who We Are

Our Team

My name is Karen R. Lassiter, and I am the founder of Butterfly Connection A.C.T. Outreach  a veteran-owned, faith-led community built on the heart of Accept. Change. Thrive.


This mission was born out of my own journey from military service, through seasons of deep loss, healing, and restoration, to finally understanding that transformation is possible for anyone who is willing to keep going, even when life feels broken. I didn’t start this outreach because everything was easy… I started it because I survived, and I knew I wasn’t meant to survive alone.


Butterfly Connection exists to walk beside veterans, families, and anyone who feels unseen offering encouragement, advocacy, resources, and hope. My passion is helping others rediscover their worth, their voice, and their purpose.

This isn’t just a website to me — it’s a promise.
